As IFORCE pointed out, last time i checked, this site is about Toyota 4runner (thus, T4R.ORG). WTF?! I HOPE that you were joking when you posted this thread...i really do. If not, then you are accusing us of picking a website name similar to someone else??

How the hell do you think we came up with "T4R"...out of the blue?? Oh wait, it must be because we are being secretly paid by the other site?? hint: "TOYOTA 4-RUNNER" = "T4R"

Time to get on soapbox. Ya know, lately, some members are out to accuse this forum for ridiculous things. I have no idea why. Can someone shed light on this??

If you guys have an issue with how this forum works, then please feel free to move on to another forum...i can even point you in the right direction! I am getting really tired of defending this forum from stupid accusations.

Whoa buddy, slow down. I feel like the dope here! For some reason I typed this TR4 thing over on another forum (advertising this one - albeit rather badly I admit!), and just kept perpetuating it when someone over there got this family's website, etc. & etc.

I have now had to go back & eat crow on both websites - and make the dutiful corrections, etc.

Sorry - honest mistake not intended to get anyone's panties in a bunch!:sobbing:





But seriously, if you didn't want the TR4.org thing - why did you make up that decal & send it to me to erroneously advertise to the whole world!

I'd bet my left nut that you aren't the only person to mistakenly type TR4.org after seeing a T4R decal. I'd bet that the other site gets quite a few 'hits' because of this forum.

I think you need to chill out a bit. You've been here a few days/weeks and you're already insulting a mod. That's not a very good start when you join a forum. I've only been here a few months and I think the mods are doing a great job on this site. They're very quick to get rid of spammers and I think they're very fair resolving conflicts between members.

Kick back, read some more before you accuse people (Thai in this case) of being something they're really not. I've found people on this form to be very helpful and try to contribute what I can.

Hey, I thought it was a neat family site with pictures of different countries they visited.

When this forum started, you had to type in " www.toyota-4runner.org ". A thread was started about a sticker and then Momo75 who was not a moderator then suggested shorting it T4R.ORG and GatorGreg bought that domain, or whatever the heck you call it. Then Momo75 came up with the sticker design. So if you type in www.t4r.org you will notice the site changes to www.toyota-4runner.org which I think is a little hard to remember.

I make the same mistake when I type in sites, for instance if you go to weather.com and type it wheather.com or if you go to whitehouse.gov and you type whitehouse.com, to me simple mistakes you go to porn sites. You have to be careful what you type in....... :arrow:

FYI, Gatorgreg and I created this forum...we are both admins. So, in essence, this is MY forum...again, "MY FORUM." And i take pride in it that this forum has grown so fast.

People can change their IP address...so we can't ban them all. So, yes, someone can come back as someone else after being banned. Just FYI.
