I must be the only one not impressed.

They're not pulling the thing up mountain grades at 60 mph. Zero tongue weight with low range gearing, and a Ranger could probably do exactly the same thing. I think it is about as lame as the Ford "bed bounce" commercials of a few years ago.

Regardless of what you pointed out, it's still pretty farkin' cool. The fact of the matter is that a Ford Ranger hasn't been given the opportunity to do "exactly the same thing." Therefore, we won't ever know if it can.

I think we can all agree that having a Tundra tow the freakin' SPACE SHUTTLE is ridiculously awesome.

I don't doubt for a minute that Toyota paid an enormous amount for this publicity stunt. Still pretty awesome any way you look at it.

NASA sold them the shuttle, its the only way they would let them touch it..


Now thats a toyota I could see myself driving!

smart move on Toyota's part. borrow space shuttle, apply R&D from shuttle, create flying cars, profit.

Still think this is terrible considering that the space shuttle is a piece of iconic American history. A company like GM who is also iconic, personal biased aside a Silverado should have been a part of this publicity stunt.

It doesn't matter if the Tundra is built in North America, Toyota is a symbol of Japan not the United States.
