And, the Auto LSD is off unless you turn it on and shift into 4WD-LOW. So, running the stock spare with the BFG AT 275s is not going to be an issue.

AGAIN, the 4WD does NOT have a LSD! :gun5: It has A-TRAC which is available only in 4L on all models and a REAR LOCKING DIFFERENTIAL on the Trail available in 4L also. A rear locking differential and LSD are NOT the same. You have to be in 4L FIRST before you activate either one, if you try to 'turn it on' then put it in 4L it will not work. Understood, I just called it the wrong thing in my post. Regardless, the Rear Locking Differential (is that the correct term) is OFF until you put your 4Runner into 4WD-LOW and turn it on. So, if your are running the 275 tire and the stock spare in 2WD, it isn't going to be an issue.

Also, check out Harper's post. He ran one 305 tire with three 275 tires, he didn't turn off any of the traction control systems and, he didn't have any issues.

Trust me. I would not have purchased the 275s if I thought it was going to be an issue. 4 more hours until I get them installed. :guitar2:

Harper has a Limited in TE clothing. Not the same set-up as a real TE, just so you know.

going from 16 to 17.

This is good to know, I am going from 16" rims to 17" and my tire size will go from 265/70/R16 to 265/70R17, or from 31" wheels to 32". I was fearing wrath of God, wrath of my wife and all sorts having to re-gear, tweak my computer etc. I saw magic dollar signs flying out of my wallet. This sounds like a plug and play solution to me so I am glad some engineer somewheres figured "hey, some folks might want to switch to a bigger tire, let's make this easy for them".

Beats jumping around on one foot and biting the head off a chicken while singing the national anthem...
