turn signal problem

I've researched the other threads and couldn't quite find what I'm looking for.
Last week I installed my snorkel, which required drilling into the fender and putting 3 self tapping screws in the pillar near the windshield
now my turn signals and flasher lights will not work
my left turn signal will work, but then I try the right and the fuse blows
any clue as to what to do to check them? I saw posts about checking the wires, but where are they?
any help would be great, thanks!

Might be easier to just run new wires a different route through the front of the vehicle. I'm having a problem with my fog light wires that I'm trying to run down and am seriously considering just running new wires.

so run a new set from my turn signal stalk area in my cab, from the two turn signals on my bumper?

Check the Factory Service Manual (FSM). If you download the whole thing, there is a wiring diagram showing how the wires run (F4 for passenger side) on page 1897 (it's a total of 2152 pages!). I think it runs into the junction box inside by the driver somewhere. I'm betting you probably some how cut the wire or exposed it causing it to ground out along the length that runs inside the fender.

Look here for a link to the FSM under "Owners & Service Manuals":
