Picked up a buddy yesterday to head up to SF for the doubleheader Giants games and found this :shocked:. Someone put some anger behind this one. It's DEEP! Crappy iPhone photo of passenger door dead center. Definitely will look into getting this fixed. Oh, and the bird poop right above. :dammit:

Look at the bright side - if it was a NY Giants game the steering wheel would have been the only thing left to take home. :brick:
 
Perhaps the bird had trouble doing its thing and it used its beak as it was applying pressure? ;)
Sucks man- hope that you are able to get it fixed well- and down with the person who did that!
 
There are people around who seem to have a vendetta against SUVs. In the Portland, OR area SUV tires are getting "pinned" while autos are not having a problem.

If you mean "pinned" as in people are purposefully parking close to make getting out difficult, they're lucky I don't live there; I already am looking for an excuse to run over some Hondas... :roll:

To the OP, that's just people; be it idiocy or obliviousness...
Are you sure its done on purpose and not some dingbat who couldn't open a door right?

When people do that to me I just push them out of the way, then winch them to a "better" spot ;):
 
I had some fat woman do that to the driver's door of my 4Runner the Friday after I got it. I was too far away to stop her getaway, but I watched that.

The DC area also has it bad with people not caring about anything that's not theirs. And playing victim when caught - which I did when some self-centered entitled b*** slammed her door not once, but twice, into my Maxima.
 
The "pinning" I referred to is using a sharp object to put a hole in the tire sidewalls. They aren't slashing with a knife, just using something like an awl to poke holes in the sidewall. It's not repairable.

I think it was done on purpose. It doesn't look like a door opening into it would do that. Now if it was random or someone targeted me for whatever reason is another story.

I'm gonna get it fixed and move on. Not a big deal. Just sucks to deal with.

Luckily I haven't had to deal with that in Portland....people are idiots! If these environmentally righteous people really cared about the environment they wouldn't destroy a tire, which requires resources to replace. The 4Runner actually gets similar, if not better MPGs then alot of other midsize sedans out there, the G35/37 for example...

If they really want to hate on a car, they should focus on Hybrids with their toxic, resource intensive batteries. (It takes more resources to build a Prius then a Hummer!)

Seriously, just randomly keying someone's car is F'd up! Keying someones car for a reason is still F'd up, but someone who does that to a random person they don't know....they should be stoned!

Atleast it was only 1 panel.
 
USAA has been outstanding in all situations for me.... but what is your deductible? is it even worth filing a claim?
