Anybody on here noticed that the URD 2.2 pulley makes the engine pull timing and lose power under full throttle applications?
I have the 7th injector kit installed, and was SUPER happy with the whole system for over a year. I recently threw on the 2.2 pulley, and re-tuned my piggyback computer. In theory, it should be getting plenty of fuel, right when it needs it.
However, despite it working very well most of the time, I notice that under wide open throttle, that the engine is actually producing LESS power and torque, and only spinning super fast and loud.
I'm wondering how imperfect the whole air / fuel ratio and O2 sensors are their jobs? I mean, I understand that this is an aftermarket product for the 5VZ with the Supercharger and some "hickups" might be expected, but for it to actually perform WORSE is quite interesting to me.
Thinking I'll throw the stock pulley back on there, and retune it to factory settings...
