usb not working?

Anybody have any issue with the usb next to the aux port not working??
I never use it since I have a car charger for my iphone and use bluetooth to stream music. I know my girlfriend uses it to charge her vape and it always worked.

But the other day me and a friend went snowboarding and he was trying to connect his phone (google pixel) and it wouldn't register. Wrapped it up to him having a stupid odd ball phone. Then my girlfriend tried plugging her vape in like usual a couple days later and it wouldn't charge tried using 2 different cords and nothing. I'll try my iphone with the apple cord when I get home.

Just curious if anyone has had any issues I have a bumper to bumper extended warranty and I personally never use the usb port just kind of annoying.

I had a similar situation. I think its the voltage coming out. My iPhone gets recognized but barely charges. Any phone I hookup that is USB Type C won't register. That goes for my nexus and my wife's 5x. Micro USB works but again barely charges. I think its normal and I just use a good dual port car charger.
