I bought Super Lube 41150 Synthetic Grease (NLGI 2) for greasing ICON UCA bushing. Can I use this same grease for my propeller shaft. From what I am hearing there are 6 zirk fittings down there. I guess Synthetic ones are mostly for UCAs and Lithium ones are for propeller shafts. I heard people using Mobile 1 red grease for propeller shaft. Toyota only mentions to use NLGI 2. Did anyone use Super Lube 41150 for all 6 zerk fittings down there with success?

I used Mobil 1 grease before. It sucks because it separates.
Thanks for the response, I have been doing a lots of googling too. So far have not came across 4runner propeller shafts using super lube yet. There is moly and lithium ones used. It take longer for me to get some of these grease, so I was preferring to use the one i already have.

moly is a better grease for a slip yoke, but superlube won't hurt anything.
moly isn't an ideal grease for needle bearings, so if you're going to use just one, superlube on the slip yoke is better than moly on the U joints.
I've used lucas red n' tacky on all zerks until recently when I picked up a second grease gun and threw a tube of moly in there.

So I ended up using Super Lube (synthetic one with Teflon) on all 6 zirc fittings on the drive line. Only 3 pump for the 2 slip yokes to avoid hydrolocking it. So far drives fine. Hopefully there is no long term problem with using this new synthetic grease on slip yoke. Super Lube claims that they play nice with other grease. So mixing Moly and Super Lube in slip yoke hopefully won't ruin everything. I would guess it should be fine, at the end of the day all drive line problems happen due to hydrolocking or bone dry no grease. But have not heard of problems caused by using synthetic of wrong grease there.

If I was that worried about this grease and loosing sleep over it I would throw it out and get something else.
