V6 4.0L Borla Exhaust sound clip

2 questions.

1: does anyone in oklahoma city area with a 4th generation 4runner have borla installed?

2: Does anyone know if the TRD exhaust fit the 03 V6?

i want to hear it as well... i'm getting ready to do it this summer and the 3 brands i'm looking at are magnaflow, flowmaster, and borla (leaning towards borla, i just want to hear it first)

This thread has been up for awhile, and no one has put up any clips. I dont think many members have clips of V-6 exhaust. I dont think it will sound bad, but remember it wont sound like a V-8. I plan to put and exhaust on my 4R on down the road. I hope someone posts up a clip before I get my exhaust, but I doubt I will get mine untill my birthday. (sept) and I dunno if I can convince my wife to buy me that for my birthday.

hey guys...i've been on this board for a long time and i only remember people having v8 sound clips....not the v6. I know this because I have a v6 and wanted to hear a borla for the v6 too. i haven't found one yet. sorry!

I'm sorry guys, I tried making a sound clip with my treo 650 and the mic is too sensitive, so replaying it you could barely hear the exhaust. I am borrowing my friend digital camcorder, and taping it, so I promise that i will get sound clips. Here pics in the mean time.

I will say that it sounds awesome. I thought that it would be quiter than the v8, but it sound almost the same.

I tried using a digital camcorder, and it sounds like crap. The sound replays all crackley. I don't know how to make a clean sound clip.

They are not smoked. I have the AVS taillight cover painted to match.

Awww its no biggie dude! I'm sure it sounds sweet! I have a digital camcorder and I know how shitty the sound can be.

I know that there is a thread on yotatech with all kinds of exhaust notes, I wonder what they used? I will try to make a clip when I finally put my exhaust system together, but I wonder if my camcorder will get the job done....
