10.5mpg on 265 duratracs.. no racks.
I guess I should replace my calipers.
I guess I should replace my calipers.
Is this from the computer or hand calculations?
That's the key, plus the actual distance driven with new larger tires is a % more than what is indicated on the odometer/on board average on the hvac readout.
Dang, what am I doing wrong. Ive got an '08 V8 all stock and I get like 14 mpg's. How are some of y'all getting 17-19?
Same here 15 on a good day

At the end of the day, the largest contributing factor is how the vehicle is driven. Here's an interesting test done on a 5.7 Tundra under various driving conditions. The takeaway is to drive steadily with minimal acceleration and braking. Don't follow too close, give yourself room to let off the gas rather than hit the brakes, and (surprisingly) windows down vs. A/C on. https://www.edmunds.com/fuel-economy/we-test-the-tips-part-ii.html
