Thanks man! Was it plug and play with the old Nav unit? And does it work with the steering wheel controls? Sorry for all the questions been trying to figure out what I wanna do for a while. Also sweet build [emoji106]

Thanks man! Plus or minus on the plug and play. Not an easy install but definitely not impossible. Yes it works with steering wheel controls. You just need to get the right kits from crutchfield (they have great instructions too). Like with anything there are a bunch of options.

Just an update: Been working on her this past week and got everything ground down and painted up! Man that = 0 fun on the grinding. Rust is not fun.
Got one axle reassembled = super messy job. One more to go. Going to be installing the sexy parts tonight will update the pics on that tomorrow. Still waiting on King, 4 full weeks in, hoping to hear they ship soon...

I see under your future mods on the first page you put "insain rear bumper". Went to their page and didn't see anything. Is it something they are going to custom fab for you? Been searching for a rear bumper for a while now

Driver Side Complete

TC 2" Race series Installed. Spindle is gusseted, tower is gusseted, cam tabs are reinforced, 3 coats of enamel paint, stainless steel extended brake lines, extended tie rod end, extended TC axle, CVJ high angle boot, just needs the coilovers

DAMN that looks done right! Make sure you stay on top of TAP and might want to even get in touch with King yourself so you don't get the run around like most of the MRT group buy people whose orders were fulfilled (or lack thereof) through TAP.

To be honest man TAP has been awesome. Been working with Richard and he has kept me uptodate on everything. Not only did he keep me uptodate he also worked with me for over a week to make a custom package for other forum members to purchase to go long travel. Guy answers the phone 95% of the time and gets back to my emails within 24hrs. As far as Chas goes, it is extremely surprising he hasn't been permanently banned from the forums. I tried to do business with him 6 gs worth of business and he never returned phone calls, pms, emails, etc. There is no excuse for what heartburn he has caused the members of this forum. For me TAP is totally separate from Chas and MRT. Call their number and someone actually answers and fulfills your order. I had all my TC gear within a week of me ordering.

Another update: All TC gear is installed both sides, got the metal tech long travel springs installed too with (2) OME shims on the driver side. Just waiting to get the Kings in! So of course while I'm waiting why not mod some more...Got the satoshi done today and starting the Snorkel install. Hoping to finish the snorkel by Wednesday/Thursday time. Sorry about the photos not having descriptions. Photo bucket has been the absolute worst...

Snorkel

Finally got this thing installed. Must say not the most fun or easiest to visualize. When you hold the thing up to the truck basically looks like there is no chance it will line up with the body. Probably a full weekend of install. Will post the plumbing pics later. Definitely need to hack up the inner fender/engine bay. And go ahead and assume you are removing all of your fender liner. I already had mine removed from the fender trimming for the long travel so at least had that going. Actually kind of the reason I pulled the trigger on the LC80 snorkel plus some instigation from [MENTION=114923]tellurunner[/MENTION]. Somehow I keep getting to be the guinea pig...

Well well well. Looks like I stumbled across the right build thread! Very nice setup. I'll be stealing some ideas I'm sure.

Very interested in your outcome on the Kings. Do you know if the rear King shocks have a "welded" lower mount? I have read that [MENTION=87687]LTDSC[/MENTION] had custom shocks made this way to help keep the compressed length down and still get the 11.5" of stroked for the MT rear setup. Only downside with this is servicing of that lower mount when the heims require replacement.

Mine are 10" stroke. So extended length I saved 1" with the welded end. 18" compressed 27" extended. I didn't want my lower mount to stick way down low and only need a 10" stroke for my application.

You know I'm not sure how King is building them. I worked with Richard at TAP and he had the Icon MT long travel shocks there and gave King the dimensions to match the specs for those shocks. Believe it or not I am still waiting for the suspension. 6 full weeks tomorrow...hoping they ship soon. Thanksgiving plans are coming desperately close to being canceled Hopefully King comes through and gets them out ASAP.

Well they finally arrived

The Kings Arrived!! Rears went on with no problems at all. Fronts are another story, can't find a way to install the reservoirs. Hose length seems to be too long. Anyone have any insight?

What kind of bracketry did they give ya? Only pics I can find of long hosed kings with a 90 degree fitting on them run them all the way forward then back like this but that would put your adjuster in a terrible spot. This guy says he relocated his windshield washer for it too.

LTDSC has short lines with a straight fitting on the end and goes this way so no help there.

Foxes mount vertical with a bracket off the sway bar holes, and some fancy line twisting. Looks like a much shorter line though too.

To bad you can't unscrew the fitting at the shock, drill a hole into the back of the shock tower, and run the line out back. (if that wouldn't interfere with the motor and exhaust I guess...)

You may have to make a bracket like Icon's remote reservoir and mount the resi upside down. I would link a pic but my phone is working against me.
