A few more updates on the truck:
Got rid of the Denver Outfitters roof top tent and ordered me a proper Baroud - Space tent. Can’t wait to test her out!
Going to sell my Whitson rack and rear lights here shortly and get a custom rack specific to my needs for the rooftop tent, awning and light bar. Trying to save some weight.
In the process of setting up a dual battery setup up front to run the fridge for multiple days. Oh yea bought myself an ARB fridge! No more worrying about getting ice.
Going to be building an aluminum framed storage system and drawers for the rear cargo area.
Also, installed a total chaos panhard bar so I could adjust the rear axle and keep it from rubbing on the gas tank. So much better now when we go wheelin!
The not fun stuff:
The rear bumper has gone to shit. The powdercoated has already failed and is bubbling out after only a year. And just the other day when I was in the driveway I opened up the rear swing arms and one of them literally fell off. It sheared the pin. I have been trying to get ahold of Insain for over 9 months to get him to support the swing arms better since they were already sagging and now the bumper is ruined. Trying to work something out with him now but he won’t answer his phone and isn’t at his shop at the hours he has posted. Wish me luck!
