Video Games?!

The only video game I guess you'd call it, was Everquest. My wife got into it first, and I got hooked from watching her.

Eventually, we joined a raid guild. It was fun, at first. When it got to be a "job" though, in other words you gotta be there, you gotta do what we say, and so forth, we stopped playing entirely. It's a GAME, when it stops being fun, we stopped playing it.

Just my experience. We still have some collectors editions of the various editions, and so forth. May be valuable someday.

I just got back into FTL and started modding Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. I have played them for years but modding has been amazing. I also started to play System Shock 2 and have been loving it. The difficulty curve in old games is always good to go back to.

I'm not much of a video game guy but I'm also 50 so there's that. I play PokemonGo a lot though, I actually play it on 5 accounts!

Prior to that was Stardew Valley, Clash of Clans and a few others like that. Mostly I just like something simple and mindless.

I recently finished RDR 2. I can say that I am still impressed by how big and exciting it is. After it, I don’t even want to start other games.

39 years old man child here, not really into games except mario kart 64 and of course a crowd favorite golden eye! I do want to try VR thought but feel like I will "be over it" a month later

For me, I’d say my top three at the moment are Elden Ring, Apex Legends, and Stardew Valley. I love the mix of intense challenge, strategic gameplay, and those laid-back, chill vibes when I need a break. If you’re into competitive shooters like Modern Warfare, Apex Legends might be right up your alley. It’s intense, tactical, and incredibly rewarding once you get the hang of it. And, let’s be real, sometimes a little help like an apex cheat can be tempting for leveling the playing field, especially when you’re up against seasoned players.

I'm trying to get into Warhammer 40K UM, but coming from Destiny 2 it's tough. The maneuverability in D2 is so good it's hard to play other stuff. Feels like I've got pants full of lead.
