Take a profile outline of the 4th gen 4runner and put the website address inside of it.

Got to www.neweclipse.org and check out their logo. This will give you an idea. The sticker is a complete piece of clear vinyl with white outline and lettering.

If they are 8.5" long they will be about 5/8" tall.

Adhesvie vinyl is run through a plotter where a blade cuts out the letters. Then all the surrounding material is pulled off leaving just the letters. Usually they will put a semi clear material on the face of the letters so you can removed the backing of the sticker and it will all hold together, at which point you can place it on your window. Once you have pressed it down on your window, you just peel the material off the face. If they didn't put the material on the face of it, you would have to peel the backing on each letter and try to get it lined up, piece by piece, and that would be amajor pain.....wheh. Sorry for the long winded answer.

Your long winded explanation helps a lot, especially about the hopefully semi-clear cover over the letters. You said to put it on your window, I was first thinking my bumper, so my question is if I put it on the window, (which makes sense to put it on the rear window), will rolling down the window affect the stickers? And by the way momo.75 thanks for designing the sticker. :banana:

No problem. You can actually put it wherever you like. I was just using the window as an example. To answer your question, the vinyl is so thin, it shouldn't be affected by the windo rolling down and it shouldn't affect the window rolling down. Of course over time, it might become dull looking i you roll you window down a bunch, but that would take a lot of rolling up and down.

Thanks so much for your response. So I have to decide where to put it. To me the rear window makes sense and I usually roll the window down once a month, which is about how many times I go to Home Depot.

I have a couple of stickers on my rear window and they have been there for a couple years and are fine and I use my rear window alot. It should be fine. ready to let southren PA and northern MD 4runners were to go.

Peter, momo's "long winded" explanation was exactly right - there is a cover over the letters so you can stick them all at once. I'll be posting some sticker application directions soon - it's very simple but if you've never applied this type of sticker you'll need to follow a couple of simple steps.
