You guys feel its worth the upcharge between the two? They will be paired with 5160's

Seems like ARB's don't get much love on this forum. Why is that? They make top notch stuff IMO and a legendary history of expedition and off-roading in the some of harshest conditions in the world.

I have 2985E's and they have performed wonderfully with a loaded rear and wheeling around the forest. Not too stiff for daily driving either.

I don't see much criticism on them and plenty use them, I guess they just aren't sexy enough for some folks.
 
I have no idea how consistent they are from year to year, batch to batch. I have a pair of SAW 1.5" that even with "some" extra weight over the rear axle, ~150ish lbs. and have settled right at 2"
 
I think most go for the ICON springs simply because they can get the whole package deal with coilovers up front and all and know that they were made to work together. But running a 51XX setup shouldn't alter what you get. I think a great deal of people just like having that logo on their rig.
 
Similar dilemma here, currently have daystar 1.5 spacers. Ride height is perfect matched with 6112's on 4th groove, issue is when loaded up, tent, fridge, camp gear, etc it sags way to low.
Trying to decide between Wheelers T12's which is the replacement for the 1.5 sway-a-way or ICON 2in.
Trying to avoid the stink bug look when unloaded which I think the ICON'S
may give.
Wheelers also says on 5th GEN the T12's give 2.5in and 1.5 on 4th GEN, anyone know if that s true?
 
Look into Toytec Superflex springs. I have installed about 8 sets of them, have never heard a complaint about them.
I even run them myself.
Have a HD version also....
 
I run Sway-Away on my 5th gen and Icon 2" on my 4th gen. I bought the Icons used from a member on here. Both are right around 2". I would say the SAW coils are a little smoother riding though.
