vsc and trac control switchs

I need help got an 05 sr5 with trac control and vsc but no switches for them can i get them from the dealer or do i need some custom stuff done? I have almost every body style yota but this is the one that gives me the most trouble when im trying to work on it

That year does not have a separate button to turn them off. I have the same year and when you lock the center diff (assuming you have a 4x4 model) will turn traction off.

Hope that helps. In later years they added a switch, so you could turn it off independent of the center diff.
 
Well, it has to do with the ECU of the car. Toyota reworked the ECU and the stability systems to have that additional input.

What I mean is, it isn't like "adding" a button and hooking a cable into some plug. I don't believe the ecu on the 2004/2005 runners can operate that way. It is possible that you could make the ECU think that the center diff is engaged to make it turn them off, but I honestly am not sure.

Yes, there's a mod around here somewhere to do exactly this. Do a search for ''VSC Off Mod'' or something. I didn't do it. I'm gonna wait til my first snow with my '06 to find out if I want to do or not.
