schneidermj said:I can possibly see the reason for this mod. But why go through the hassel when all you have to do is put it in 4LOW and all wheels will spin. Granted, you don't get to fly around corners...
HAfrica13 said:Well figuring out this switch isnt hard... the FJ guy did it, and its the exact same mod. I'm just hesitant to cut a wire and add a switch that would always be on to a crucial part of the electrical system. plus... i dont really know whether or not i want to drill into my dash to add an after market switch either.

LOL, a "power spin" is probably not the preferred technique for most technical off-road obstacles! :biggrin2: Locking the center diff disengages the ATRAC correct?schneidermj said:Falls,
When you engage 4lo it disables VSC and you're able to power spin out of anything. This has been discussed here before.
I dont know h;ow to wire up a factory switch... do i need a harness or something? And are you talking about an actual toggle or the button, like the Differential lock or DAC? I would really like to do it... as long as it looked stock.Falls said:You should not have to drill a hole , just get one of the factory switches in put one in one of the slots. It would look factory.

Falls said:Incorrect ! Locking the center diff. disengages the VSC , be it in 4hi or 4lo. Read your manual this has been discussed here before.
