I ended up with the Kenwood KW-HDR81BT. Its basically a replacement for the one referenced in this thread. You'll see it doesnt show up in any searches yet... haha - I was "anal" and was searching and searching and ended up finding the below JVC Press Release with the 2012 models:
JVC Mobile Introduces New State-Of-The-Art CD Receivers In 2012 | JVC Consumer Press Releases
Here's the specs for the Double DIN one I chose:
The KW-HDR81BT CD Receiver is a dual USB/CD receiver with Built-In HD Radio™ technology featuring Bluetooth® wireless technology (phonebook access profile, phone book transfer, hands-free call, audio streaming, AVRCP, text message receipt notification, voice recognition dialing, compatibility check mode, 2 phone full-time connection capability), dual USB ports with 1A current compatibility for smartphones, drive change mode, DiAS II Tuner, iTunes Tagging®, 3-band parametric iEQ, Pandora® internet radio application control for iPhone®, JVC original application control, Smart Remote for control with Android smartphones, over 30,000 separated variable-color illumination options, aux input, and is Satellite Radio and steering wheel remote control ready. Music on smartphones can also be read through USB mass storage on Android and Blackberry® phones. This receiver is available in February with an MSRP of $249.95.
I ended up calling Crutchfield to see if they happened to know when it would come in.. They said they will be getting it in February (sometime), and their price on it is $229.99. Not bad at all for HD Radio + Bluetooth + Rear USB/etc. I ended up pre-ordering by phone (because this one isnt even set up on their website yet). Can't wait until it ships! Oh and I also ordered the steering wheel controls from Amazon (the Axxis one), and a good cell phone holder from proclip.com.
If you're interested in the direct 2012 replacement @ Crutchfield for the one being discussed in this thread, here it is at Crutchfield to "pre-order":

Hopefully my research helps someone! (Obviously, I'm not affiliated with Crutchfield or JVC, or ProClip, or Amazon... I just knew what I wanted!!)
