There is a company called mydipkit.com that sells DIY kits. I thought about doing this to the big silver piece around the nav/audio unit.

It looks pretty easy but I am sure I would find a way to eff it up so I would have to order a couple to practice with first. From what I have seen, round pieces are the most difficult.
