I thought the V-6 was 282 lb/ft of torque

I wish it had 342!!! THats more than the V-8!

It's NOT full time 4X4 it has the ring next to the ignition key
for the two 4X4 options, first one for H4 and the second one for L4

Actualy that meens its full time 4x4. if you had the option of 2wd the rind would say 2hi on the left 4hi in the middkle and 4lo on the right.

i have a couple requests for pics. take a picture of the left side of the engine where the turbo sits, the different buttons on the left side of the dash and the center counsel, last one is the emblems on the back of the car. It looked like yours said alot more on the back left of the car.

Btw do you happen to have the brochure for the 4runner from the dealer?

Ok... look at this one.....let me explain, in the back is the beach, and at the front (what you see) is a clear water river where you can take off your body the salty water from the beach ...isn't that great???

Yes, I have successfully kept the majority of my mod information summarized in the thread linked in my signature. It is very long and probably more detail then you want, but it was intended to show the progression of my extras. The extra I wish I had the most.......pictures like yours! They are so beautiful. I wish I'd taken my 4runner to such exotic locations. It makes me extra sad I don't have 4wd. Pathetic, I know.

watch out with that salt water, it can realy hurt the car in hte future with body rust, but can do damage alot sooner on the suspension parts.

Well I was doing my reserch and I called the guys who installed the front guard...apparently the one who took the call did not know much about it.....he told me that the trademark was HONKO and that they bring them from miami (wich I doubt) maybe is VIA miami.
anyway if you're really interested I can go there and give you real details if they give it to me, heres an ad that they have...

Well you know I just did it once and it was intended for you guys!
I know about the damage that can be done by salt water, so next day I took it to the car wash and have it washed all over with high pressure water.
you know it's ok just once cause we dont have snow here so there's no salt on the street.

No, I don't mean for it to be a pain for you. I already have a guard on the front and definitely can't afford to get a new one already. I'm just curious and I'm sure there will be others that will want to copy you. So, don't go to any extended effort on my account. Thanks anyway.
