So I found a spot near me that I could do a little wheelin to test out the capabilities of my new truck. I went yesterday after it had rained all day saturday and road on probably about 3 or 4 miles worth of trails that got down right nasty in some spots. Overall I was very impressed with the ability of my t4r with hankook all season on it. There was one spot where i got in some particularly deep mucky ruts where I thought I was stuck but ended up being able to back out and turn around and reroute. I was especially pleased with how it did on steep rocky and muddy inclines. ATRAC just keeps that baby movin. Only aired down to about 35 psi too.
Like I said I was overall very pleased but I deffinitely want to get a little more lift than the 1" cornfed leveling kit is providing. I think I'm gonna go with the 2/1 + fj springs that I have in my garage for a little extra ground clearance and a little better tire. I'm thinking of going with the hankook dynapro atm 255/70/18 at the moment. I think this will give me just enough off road traction to do what I want while still maintaining good on road manners. Will post up pics later of her all muddied up.
