Took the weekend to take Po out on his first camping trip and spend some time alone in the woods. Went up to a nice spot in Vermont that I have been going to for a few years and absolutely loved it. Brought my camera gear and decided to do some timelapses which I think came out pretty cool! Going to see how they look when put together in a video, but I dig the star trails haha. More pics in my build thread.

Pulled in the driveway, after 10days on the road from CO to CA and back, it was good to get home. Spent some time cleaning off bug guts and trying to clean up the new pinstriping. :guitar3:

I do not quite understand what you did but I really like that outlet on the outside next to your fog lights. Great idea!

Behind the outlet I have it split into a power strip. I plugged a battery tender in, and unplugged all of my winterization stuffs (i.e. block heater, battery blanket, transmission & oil pan heaters).

If you look back to some of my older posts I got some general pics of how I did it. It is holding up surprisingly well!

I did! It was kinda crowded though - there were a dozen people there and a half dozen cars when I passed through. Was a little disappointed I couldn't really find a spot to view it from the side.

had a buddy in town and we went up to st mary's glacier for a lazy hangover hike to get out of hte Denver heat with the pup. noticed across the way a trail up the far hill, so did a little google recon and discovered a trail system between st mary's and central city (yankee hill). Identified the trail up the hill and a trail back to the south that pops back out on fall river road that leads between st mary's and I-70 - a quick internet search confirmed I shouldn't have any issues as far as un-navigable obstacles, although I'll say the road was a bit more aggressive than I anticipated (have some off road experience in Telluride albeit in a rented lifted jeep and with highly experienced friends which is 100% different than in your own truck lol).

Anyway, feel like i truly popped the truck's off-road cherry, scraped over some stuff and collected a lot of pinstripes (womp womp) but worth it, very fun.

Probably should get a hi-lift before I do that again tho.

Last week I got my driver and passenger side windows tinted, installed a new stainless steel ball shifter, gassed her up and took her to the White Mountains in NH. Had a wonderful weekend (wife + 4Runner too). I have a bunch of pics, but thought these may be enough for you all to get the idea. Enjoy!

Ah yeah. If you hike to the east on the northeast side of the bridge, you get to a little fenced-in lookout area about 1000 ft off the road.

Installed the TRD Pro grille+garnish the other day. Just came back from a UT AZ trip. The narrows and the wave are two things y'all must go experience!

Side note, any of y'all use any sun covers to protect the paint? My 4runner is parked outside 24/7.

Was wondering if anyone would be able to check my compressor plan and tell me whether I am dumb or not. Had just the ARB twin in the previous rig. Now I am going to do a setup with a tank.

So I have my ARB twin and I am getting a Bandi Mount that will let me run a Viair tank. So here is my loose plan.

ARB Twin ---Leader hose--- /Check Valve/ --- Viair Tank

Then plug all of the unused ports on the tank. And then run a line to the manifold.

Viair Tank ---Leader hose--- Viair Manifold ---Safety Valve, Drain Cock, ARB Quick Release Fitting, plug, plug.

Does that make sense? If not, there is a crazy crude drawing below. Would someone mind taking a look and making sure I am not crazy. Also I know some people don't run check valves, but I think I am going to. It can't hurt in the long run and it is literally just a small little thing to screw in to the tank so why not.

Uninstalled & reinstalled half of my URD Mk3 exhaust, fixed the exhaust leak. Removed the aFe CAI & URD MAF Calibrator, reinstalled stock airbox with aFe filter (in prep for URD/Whipple SC)

I’m sure you have this figured out, but Your drain should be on the tank, unless the manifold is your low point. Sounds like a fun project!

Ah-ha. I did not know that. Thanks for letting me know. I will definitely put the drain cock on the tank then since it is the lowest point. That might make getting to a pain in the ass though haha

Installed TRD air filter.

Installed LED rear turn signals. Installed LED back-up lights and LED license plate lights. So rear of truck is all LED.
