Got a ride in my, literally still new, ORP to the hospital to have splint and stitches removed. Doc says healing better than expected and in approximately 8 more weeks I can drive it myself! :clap2:

Went for a bike ride while the T4R got its first oil change at 9450 mi., tires rotated, quick wash job, & 10K service check.

Changed my oil today. First time with my RCI skid plate installed. It was much faster not having to remove the stock skid plate, but a little messier as some oil dripped on the edge of the plate as I put the filter insert in to drain the filter. A bit dripped on the edge of the skid plate's drain plug access hole as well. That was a lot harder to reach to clean up without removing the skid plate.

I also fixed the stuck child lock on the rear passenger door using the info in this post.

Drove into Denali, did some hiking, then some bike riding. It clouded over and snowed while simultaneously smoke from forest fires rolled in. Made for a pretty darn fun bike ride.

Phone pics didn't turn out the best, but it was indeed some beautiful scenery.

Fires everywhere! It's just a fact of life up here during the AK summer. So much uninhabited land it's bound to burn, and they don't worry about it until it gets close to people.

Denali really is beautiful, and we're excited to be out here. Honestly though, the state has TONS of other beautiful places, especially all along the Alaskan Range (which Denali is part of). We ended up getting a free room here and couldn't pass the opportunity (red arrow on map). I plan on taking the runner down the Stampede Trail today! Hiking Mount Healy this afternoon :llama:

Installed this thing last night. Proline Rear Elite Bumper Dual Swingout. Boy was it a chore. From the bumper not fitting onto the frame because the powerdercoat was too thick or the brackets were welded on too narrow, cured powdercoated tape left on the spindle posts and spare studs, to the incorrectly installed latches. Among other things, its finally freakin on.

To give some credit to Proline, the bumper looks great and I feel will perform well, I just had a lot of issues with customer service and slight designs with the bumper. I will probably write something up later in a different post with issues and suggestions.

To anyone considering this bumper on the Westcoast or anywhere but the Eastcoast, I suggest to look for more local options. And for the record, Proline did resolve some issues I had.

Overall I feel indifferent about the whole thing. It looks great, but the customer service really put a damper on the bumper buying experience. More shots when I get the bumper cover cut and installed.

Removed the OE Dunlop tires and put on a set of Toyo Open Country AT II tires 265/70/17. I've heard great things about them.

Finally did a couple things I’ve been meaning to today.
1) Removed the running boards. Definitely looks a lot better, and looks like clearance will be greatly improved. I’m sure my wife and son will complain tomorrow... They liked the step. I will get sliders with a step eventually...
2) ARB Diff Breather Mod. This was kind of a big one for me. Bought the kit a while ago and watched a couple videos several times... Finally got up the nerve to do it. Felt really good!
