What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

The only thing that worked well was the T4. Went to a large open area to run a TMaxx, dead batteries. Tried the RC18, short battery life. Flew the quadcopter until the wind was too much. Went home to recharge a few things.

That's why I love nitro. Run out of gas, just fill it back up and get straight back to bashing around. Makes me want to go get my Revo and TMaxx out and clean them up to see if they still even run.

It's a T-Maxx, but I put the electric start back on and used a 5 year old battery.
They will do things we should not try in our T4s.

Gonna have to take back my "Like" then (j/k - just jelly: have an old E-Maxx with aluminum upgrades and nice motors and GP3300 batteries, but has been in the closet for many years now )

Yep - Used to be able to drive mine up a fat tree trunk next door, and it would quite literally do a "Backflip" and land on all 4's. Would love to get my T4R to do that! :thumb3:

Picked up a few sticks of big aluminum tube for my sailboat. I've got to figure out some type of front receiver to haul longer pieces of material. The factory rack is pretty worthless and even with the rear goal post, I'm pretty much maxed out at 20' - and light weight.

Grabbed some Method NV & Mesh wheels. For the taco and the new trail edition (should have the TE by May). Ordered weather tech mats and intract vent visors. Just getting ahead of the game.

Trying to figure out the best lift to net me 1.5-2". Plans are 275/70-17.

Finished the LED migration with some reverse lights. Haven't checked them in the dark yet, but finally swapped them out per plan.

She needs an alignment, but she drives great.

Haha yeah those cars are beasts. In middle school several of my friends and I had them and put those things through hell and back. We were braking parts so much we started cutting our own out of sheets of aluminium (with supervision at the time) instead of driving to the parts store lol.

I've searched for 4Runner bodies high and low with no luck. Maybe someone could custom mold one!?!?!?!

Ah gotcha. Forgot the electric is called the E-Maxx. The electric start was always a little buggy, especially if you've got a bad starter battery. I considered switching my Revo over to a pull starter at one point.
