Time for a lift... The new wheels and tires look great, is that buffalo creek? I'm out of town on vacation but the snow must really be melting in the foothills since I left.

Edit: hadn't read your response yet to Jacob, God I wish I wasn't stuck in Florida right now. You forget to mention more than half that mileage is through all the burned out sections!

Installed a roof basket Saturday. Went for a drive and hike this morning. Came across an abandoned Jeep with a broken front axle.

Yeah, that was my fault. Going through some seriously deep puddles way too fast. Tore it straight off and I didn't notice until I was about 50 miles away from the puddles. A replacement is on order. Can't go around looking like an SR5. :wink2:

There's a thread called 5th Gen Water Fording(I think) that I started a few weeks back, bringing up this topic. Got some great conversation going. My wife's 14 TEP did the same thing. At first Toyota said we were in an accident. They eventually fixed it. Maybe when they noticed the rest of the car was untouched and the plastic panel had been pulled off.
After I found my front plate bent out from the same thing, and reading that thread, I decided to slow down in water or go around. Keeps the mud stank down, too.

Those sleeksters? Hope you followed the directions and used a real rivet gun. I finally got mine together after two days and going through three hand rivet tools. Solid product, though! I managed to not see a boulder the other day and whacked it pretty hard on a slider. Barely noticeable Mark, felt it reverberate through the whole truck, no harm otherwise.

Had a Magnaflow 11225 installed this morning and had the exhaust rerouted to the side. Crazy awesome sound; night and day difference.

Ground down my Shrockworks transfer skid to get rid of some grinding sounds. The transfer case was resting on one of the skids braces and rattling crazy style.

Anyone else running the skids have some unexplained grinding noise? I can help.
