What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Do the four screws holding the antenna mount to the lip make contact with the body inside the door? I'm having trouble with that.

There is a thin flat rectangular piece of metal that comes with it in which the four allen screws tighten down on. I applied some thread locker on them as well. You can see that silver metal piece in the last picture.

I mean where it meets the inside of the body. When you close the door, does the hex end of the bolt hit the paint?

Nice choice on both! I just put on the 3rd set of ST Maxx's on my Cummins daily driver. I have yet to have a single problem with them and the truck see's off road use every day.

I gave mine a bath, nothing special, you dont want to spoil em you know...

I also got my 150psi High Flow Non-Adjustable CO2 Regulator in from Wheelers Offroad and mounted it to my 5lb tank. Ill post some pics below of where I plan to mount it and the brackets I ordered to do so.

Dropped her off at the dealership. Driver side front door speaker isn't working. They put me in a 2014 camry for the mean time. It's no where near as nice as the 4Runner though.

At least you got a Camry. I put mine in for 2 weeks back in December while they tracked down an annoying squeak that happened below 50F and above 50mph on city streets/rough roads. They gave me a shitty a$$ Corolla, pretty much base model with nav/bluetooth. Squeak ended up being a faultily attached driver's front fender trim piece. They ordered, painted, and replaced. Would have been $350 if wasn't under warranty!

This is how I explained to the other half that an after market bumper would be more benificial than a stock replacement bumper. I told her that It'll probably happen again if I replace it with another stock bumper. :thumb:

You know, ran the CB antenna cable. Broke some plastic tabs…The usual.

You mentioned a metal piece that the set screws tighten down on. I thought they screws has to pierce the paint to get contact with the metal, is that not the case? Have you tuned the antenna? what is your SWR?

Would you mind taking some close up pics of the mount and set screws?
