Nice. Might be the first 4R I've seen with the new 2.5" Boss. I'm considering those. How's the ride?

So far I love it. only about 125 miles or so on it so far. obviously as with most all the lifts, it's stiffer than stock. I think it rides great. I like it more than the stock boat feel. ha.

It looks fantastic too.

Go for it! Seems to be a great lift...can't wait to get it off road and test it.

Picked up some mud at Big Dogs Ice Breaker. Yes that is a RCI front skid caked in mud.

Took the sliding tray out in prep for my GooseGear drawers...

Also, took out the rear seats to clean out under the carpet from the years of dogs/desert hunting/camping. Scratched the paint under the carpet reinstalling the seats and now Im stressing about that.

Am I being too paranoid thinking its going to cause some issue down the road?

Today, I reaffirmed my decision to lift.

I wouldn't worry about the extra weight. They look legit and should be able to take a beating. If you're using them more as steps I'm sure he can use lighter material.

I nearly went with those but then found out Pelfreybilt made some legit ones also.

We've been doing a lot of bike camping over the past few weeks, but the snow came so it's back to ski mountaineering for now.

Ordered a 40" Rigid Radiance light bar, I'll skip wiring up the bro backlighting but for around $330 it should be perfect for the occasional usage. Works out perfect for me since I put in the Spod and just need to run the power and ground down under the hood to the source and switches are already in place.

More light always better...

We've been doing a lot of bike camping over the past few weeks, but the snow came so it's back to ski mountaineering for now.

I'm running 29+ 3" Chupacabra's. I know you probably do 60 miles a day but that's pretty good for me a week lol. Averaging a around 8 mph on the trails.

You have the weather advantage over us, the trails are crud out here, to warm to stay frozen but too wet & snowy to dry out. I've gotten exactly two rides on my new mtn bike, depressing...

Tell me about it. I don't have a new bike this season but the weather is making me feel bipolar. I'm thinking about a "work" trip down to Austin with stop-overs in Pueblo and Palo Duro Canyon.

Probably will do that when I install the frig wires and hot 12v. For the next few weeks it will have to do.

Still think its fine since its inside but I know its messed up.

I love my FR-S. It is the perfect yin to the 4Runner's yang. I loaned mine out to a coworker's son to take to prom tonight. Hopefully I don't get any unpleasant calls later tonight!

I drove my 4Runner up to Morgantown for a 61 mile road ride with my friend who also has a 4Runner. We rode with one of his friends that also has a 4Runner.

Wait a couple of weeks for Pueblo. We did not escape the snow this weekend either. Temps back up next week, but the canyons may take a couple to dry out.
