Decided to take the day off yesterday, drove to Ruidoso, picked up my dad, and we headed for the hills.

Washed the 4Runner and then installed the rear husky mud guards to get ready for winter roads... Whenever winter comes. Will put on the fronts tomorrow. Felt like having a few beers instead.

Indeed, I plan on getting the Toytec BOSS suspension kit with uca after Christmas and going the full 3". Wheel and tires will happen once my current tread gets low enough. I'm too frugal to get them now with half tread left haha.

Air pressure seemed a bit low in my new Duratracs LT285/70/17 D so I checked and it was about 32 all around (inflated by Discount Tire and the invoice says they aired to 35 PSI). After reading some threads I decided on 38 PSI cold and it feels much better! Either tomorrow or Sunday I'll do the "fender push" mod since I'm noticing some rubbing.

Just finished touching up my sliders with a can of Rustoleum spray-on bedliner. It blends sooooo easily with the old bedliner it's not even funny. My new favorite paint product

Finishing installing the front husky mud guards. Still debating on whether to get running boards. Anyway- I think they look great and offer lots of protection. I've only owned my rig since March and have less than 10,000 miles on it and tha lower panels have a decent amount of chips on them. I wish I put these on sooner .

I also tested out my new Meguairs DA Power System on the hood with some polish and wax. It worked very well with my cordless drill!

I've got that same DA power system. Used it several times over the summer one several different cars and trucks. For the price of it, I found it to be very very nice. A cordless drill would definitely make it even better!!

'14 in Malibu, CA

I purchased my 2014 4Runner Limited last Thursday. I am from NC but reside part-time in Los Angeles, CA when I don't have school back home. On Tuesday I left NC and drove 2,300 miles in a matter of two days! 24 hours straight the first day, and another 12 the next. My TEN DAY OLD 4Runner has 3,350 miles on her as of now. It was rough, but I'm here and happy aside from the sadness of my car having so many miles already! I took a cruise up PCH today and stopped at the beach for a bit. I couldn't help but take a picture. I am posting this picture with a filter on it because the original was pretty dark! I LOVE my '14 and can't wait for more adventures. Wish I could take it to Hawaii with me tomorrow for 5 days, but I'll save the mileage!
