I camped on Mineral Creek for a week last year and saw all kinds of carnage. It's not a difficult trail, but I think most of the people that get into trouble there don't know how to drive off road and pick some of the worst possible lines.

A good week.
Lift was installed Thursday, headed to mountains this weekend to test it out, very happy with the results. Played on some of the 4x4 roads stemming off of boreas pass, trying to get a feel for it.
Toytec Boss coilover up front set at 2.5" and SAW 1.5" coil and bilstein 5100's in the rear.
Sorry was having to much fun to take a picture.

Today I couldn't get to t4r!
No wait, before that, I took an impromptu back country exploration with a friend. Drove from Escondido up to Temecula then
east on 79 and picked up the Palomar divide Road 0.4 miles east of Aquanga. It follows a low ridge for a while then rockets up
to the top of Palomar Mountain on a twisty, uneven, sometimes steep ledge road. At the top there is an active forest service
fire tower. Manned.
Don't think we were supposed to drive up to it but the rangers were friendly (from the top of the tower) Had a snack and d
rove down the tamer south side. About 20 miles total. The road is maintained so there were not giant ruts or rock obstacles
but boy you (and especially your passenger) better not have any high anxiety
The views were spectacular all the way up, at the top and all the way down the other side to Lake Southerland.
Me standing as far away from the truck as I could get on the mountain side, in the background below you can see
the trail coming up the ridge before starting the real ascent.
Trail rates a 3 out of 10 for difficulty, but 10/10 for the views even with a bit of haze. Huge long distance views, Some
of the best scenery in North San Diego county.
Once back on 79 on the other side of the trail we came back to Escondido through Santa Ysabel, stopped in Ramona for
a huge lunch and then back down to Escondido. Round trip was about 6 hours and a half tank of gas.

Did a quick trip up to Mammoth to check on things and on the way bumped into KBB test driving the Taco Pro...they gushed over the suspension and seemed to think the T4R Pro was Super Charged. Nice guys.
Did some quick trails...I think more mountain bikes went on some of these trails then trucks. Luckily I didn't surprise anyone.
Cool site looking at the Minarets.
Came home Saturday and installed my Icon Expedition Rear Springs...definitely an inch taller but don't feel stiff at all. Rotated the tires too! Need to do tranny and diff fluid changes.
Almost installed the snorkel, almost.
Did some quick trails...I think more mountain bikes went on some of these trails then trucks. Luckily I didn't surprise anyone.

New 18x9 FN BFDs in Graphite went on today! Tires are 275/65/18 E Rated Duratracs from a previous truck, maybe 8k miles on them.
Dustin [MENTION=85422]FNWheels[/MENTION] is fantastic to work with; first class guy, and great customer service all around. Pulled the trigger last Monday, wheels were shipped within 2-3 hours, and they arrive from CA --> by Friday.
Stock suspension (for now!), but I have about 400 lbs worth of stuff in the back so its a little saggy looking.
Apologies on the shoddy pictures - full sunlight, and only had a moment to take a few phone pics before running back into work.

These were taken with a cell, so the intensity of the light isnt as clear as it otherwise would be in person - Im sure you know what I am talking about, given you just put your Rigids in! I have upgraded HIR bulbs in the my highs, so they are brighter than most.
Low Beams
Low/Fogs
Low/High
Low/Rigid Hyperspots
Hyperspots ONLY
ALL Lights (Low/High/Hyperspots/20" Bar in my Grill)
Unfortunately I forgot to take/or cant tell which picture it is, a Low Beam/Light Bar picture.

could you imagine the power draw if you didn't have LED's and the beefing up of your electrical system to run old style lights.
yes you pay more for LED's but you save in the long run compared to the old days.

Yah its great - the draw, especially for a high quality piece like Rigid D2s, is absurdly minimal. Someone noted that it was about the same draw as your turn signal. Im not sure if that is accurate, but I do know that is is very low.

July 17th, 62° (for real) and 2" of heavy rain, 5am, so I'm out driving through the deep water runoff around and around the block in the dark, getting a free car wash on the underside of my truck. That powdery Colorado mud takes a long time to get out of the under-body crevices.
new leds for my backup lights from superbrightleds.com. needless to say they are super bright. dark pic for reference of lights off and middle picture is with parking brake on and just running taillights, not brake lighting
