What did I do in my 5th Gen today? Oh yeah, I remember now...

After selling my 3rd Gen yesterday morning, I picked up my 5th Gen from the dealer this morning and drove it home! I ordered it back in mid January. BOOM!

It's a beautiful, brand new TRD Pro, Inferno.

Finally the weather was nice enough to install the TRD pro badging. Didn't install the pro part tho. I have the "pro" emblem if anybodys intrested, pm me. Also got around to installing the TRD pro shifter.

did you put the spacer inside the shifter?

Took off my winter wheels and spacers. Cleaned up the threads on the wheel studs, fresh loctite, spacers back on, then put the MTRs on.

For all you guys going crazy on the spacers, remember they need maintenance too...

I was in the same boat but then I drove my wife's runner while I followed her(she wanted to drive mine to dinner) and man it looks awesome!

Sliders Installed. More like bloody knuckles, shredded my hands trying to get the bolts installed. Guess thats what I get for being lazy and not getting my Mechanix gloves out lol

I had the same sliders on my truck but i had to remove it because my 4runner was shaking i was feeling vibration from frame, i think the sliders are too heavy

Haven't felt a thing. Sturdy as can be and no shaking that I can tell. Is it possible you didn't have them installed correct or tight enough?

Brighter, almost match the intensity of the low beams, and better spread towards the edges of the road. H11 to H9 Mod

I bought the Tundra TRD pro shifter which is the same as the 4R but its almost $10 cheaper. Didn't come with a spacer.

Did you tighten them down all the way? I did crank mine down a bit more after a couple of thousand miles, I have had zero problems with them. The extra weight shouldn't be a problem unless you have some kind of odd harmonics issues with your truck.

well if when you tigh it and it rubs the bottom like mine did you can put a small set screw in.

The thread size is metric 8mm x 1.25.
