Installed sliders tonight. Passenger side was easy, drivers side was more difficult with KDSS lines and fuel tank in the way.

I talked to John at White Knuckle and asked him if he could get the sliders powder coated in white to match the 4Runner. He said no problem!! John was very easy to talk to on the phone and returned emails quickly.

done, painted front and rear emblems and Toyota on the rear black. Roof rack was painted as well. Went back and forth on doing the brakes red. Decided to go for it, can always paint again. Didn't want to much of a racer/ricer look. I like the way it came out, subtle, goes with red TRD and SR5.

It doesn't feel stock lol. It's still a bit rough. You can tell when you hit pot holes or go over train tracks.

Completed the blackout reversal

The emblems were looking a bit ragged so instead of repainting or dipping I decided to return the factory setting. Big thanks to [MENTION=75517]whodat[/MENTION] for the front emblem!

Parts ordered/arriving

Spidertrax wheel spacers- in the mail, Daystar lift- in the mail, RCI filler plate just arrived and getting a free light bar from a buddy woot woot! Photos to come shortly.

You know, ran the CB antenna cable. Broke some plastic tabs…The usual.

Lol.. That sucks man I'm sorry, I hate plastic tabs. This time around I'm considering taking it in to an audio shop and paying them to help me route everything so it stays clean.. Haven't decided yet it sorta feels wrong to pay someone for that.

It was the tabs inside the rear wheel well that are screwed in from the inside. I couldn't see any other way around it to get them off. The window side popped up pretty easily but the tray is secured in there with two screws.

She looks good man (and I am picky). I think the red is subtle and a nice offset to the black.

Those are the kind of tasteful mods Blitz likes.

Personally, I would get rid of the red SR5 pillar emblem as I think it detracts from the lines of the truck, but thats just my opinion.

Oh ya know, just thought i'd flex the suspension a bit and check my sway bar bushings and the Sonoran Steel panhard bar i installed a cpl weeks ago

After running my hose clamp setup to keep my exhaust from hitting the transfer skid for awhile I kept loosing the clamps over some rough ranch roads at high speeds. Any way looked around and found some better hangers that don't sag so no more hose clamp and more importantly no rattle!

old set up is nice if you bang up the skid just tighten the clamp!



New set up is with a Perrin Polyurethane Exhaust Hanger it doesn't sag like the factory softy so no hose clamp too loose anymore.

Do the four screws holding the antenna mount to the lip make contact with the body inside the door? I'm having trouble with that.

I thought about that, but for now keeping it. If I change my mind, it comes off easy enough. I had been concerned about the red brakes popping to much, but came out just right. I know some people hate it, but i'm not some people! Thanks for the nice comment.
