I love this 2010-2013 4runners with 4x4Labs bumper... freaking looks soo bad ass... its like staring at Dark Vader or Bain.

Struck out on the ol' QE2 highway (or as I call it, The Albertabahn,) for the 300 or so km trip towards Calgary, land of Bro Lifts and Corduroy Cowboys. Hit up the Bass Pro Shop down there, one of only 2 locations in western Canada - I love that place...just about everything a fella could want, and 100x better than the Cabella's in Edmonton. Grabbed a couple items for my upcoming trek up to Alaska in June - got a decent deal on a sleeping pad, a nice big backpack, and some good lightweight stuffable rain gear. Stopped in at Atmosphere in Red Deer on the way back and grabbed some collapsible bowls and a collapsible nylon kitchen sink. The kitchen sink is sweet - once unpacked and filled, it holds 10L - when you're done, it collapses to about the size of your hand. Pretty cool.
Then on the way back, I saw my first Tesla in person. Didn't see the owner around, otherwise I would've harassed him to check it out a little closer. Pretty cool ride - I wouldn't be embarrassed to roll around in one!

thanks, good info. it may be powder coated silver, but on the 2015 TRD Pro trim, the plate is visually 'tan' to my eye. see pics...

I would agree... and my monitor is calibrated. The Inferno Red pic has a slightly warmer color temp. The other though is "silver"

Installed 3 Rows of Black on Black on Black Wet Okole Seat Covers to protect the goods from my 2 year old and new baby coming in July.
It took a few hours and some patience’s. Very Happy with the outcome.
The Third Row Seat Covers look great and still allow them to be folded down for Cargo Space when not being used. A tight fit but it folds down flat.

Completed mod 2 and 3. Installed a Rola roof rack to the top which i love the simple look and design. Also got new wheels and tires. Wheels are from an FJ Cruiser that I had powder coated wrinkle semi gloss black. They match the LineX bumpers pretty well. Tires are BFG KO2 size 275/70R17. Got a heck of a deal at the 4Wheel Parts Jeep and Truck fest a few weekends ago. Love the black wheels as it totally changes the look from my old silver ones.

Re plasti dipping front and rear trail edition trim now that I know more coats are better. Only put three on my first go around and had a little tear from a rock recently. No biggie.

:thumb: That seatpost clamp attaches perfect to the mirrors arm doesn't it! (assuming that is what you did?) Fit is solid I just left mine there
I was trying to permatize a mount by my winch fairlead as a spotter, that is proving a little bit more difficult without actually fab'ing something up.Attachments

Instead of nearly falling off a hillside like last weekend, I took a quick trip up to Sedona by myself. This weekend, many of us here in central Arizona experienced a phenomenon where a large grayish mass blocked the blue sky and occasionally, drips of water came from said mass. It was quite interesting.

Rear Track Bar and Bumper Lights Installed
Got around to installing my adjustable rear track bar from Rokmen Offroad. I was told that I was the last one to get this bar with the Rokmen logo. Legit OG status LOL! It'll now have a Toytec logo. Also halfway installed my rear bumper LED lights. The wire loom isn't long enough to reach into the engine bay so that sucks. At least I don't have those empty holes back there.
Initially I went a little overboard strapping the axle in place. Haunting memories hit me about the time I installed my rear upper links without doing so. It shifted a little during that install and was a pain to install them. Ended up just using one strap from the frame mount to the axle mount for the track bar. In all seriousness, I don't even think I needed to do that. OEM bar came out easily and the new bar went in extremely easy. I don't think there was any shifting at all between the frame and axle. The Rokmen bar is beefier and my 285 spare was tighter getting back up there. Ended up letting some air out of the tire. If it helped, I'm not sure. Just wiggled it around a bunch to get it back in but it's definitely a tighter fit.
I'll follow up with images of the spare tire fitment in another post.
