Ran "The Gap" with my bro. My truckUV and his 12 limited on spacers.
19 mile right of passage 4x4 trail notorious for rearranging stock vehicles.
Took 7 hours, left us all out far later than intended.
We were in a hurry, so few pictures of any substance were taken, but I did find out that I can max out my clinometer on pitch AND roll. 35° each. Fun, but not recommended.
He'll be getting new bumpers soon..

Amazing what different wheels will do (bumper may also help) but those look much larger then mine and they are the same size. Good Choice BTW

Traded the 4Runner for a crappy loaner Corolla for the weekend.

I can't stand the sport suspension and those low profile tires, they ride too rough for what's left of the pavement I drive to work past the rock quarry and garbage dump. That stupid CVT can't decide whether or not it wants to shift too, annoying. I'm glad the only money I spend on this crap is the gas to go in it, which of course less than that of my 4Runner.
They called tonight and said the 20k service was done along with sunroof repair. Found the sunroof lacking lubricant and motor wasn't fully secured hence caused a clicking noise as it rattled going over bumps. They are still investigating why I have a vertical grease smear on the inside of rear hatch glass from going up and down. Also trying to find what is going thunk/clunk/rattle in the front right suspension when turning left, uphill, over uneven road at 25-40mph. I don't anticipate them finding the suspension problem as I have a hard time reproducing it except at one intersection, which is of course 35 miles from the dealer, and 2 from my house.

Edit: Forgot to post the relevant part, Picked up my Budbuilts from the PC today, was about a 1/4 of the price of having them lineX'd. I will see how they hold up over the next year

put new brakes and hawk lts pads on a few days ago.. normally i don't bleed my brakes when doing a brake job, but i have many times too.. but when i did the passenger side front the fluid was black! the others weren't that way, so i'm thinking it got contaminated somehow.. but either way.. make sure you guys bleed your brakes

Installed my T4R.ORG Badge ~ modded with 1/16" thick X 2 1/2" dia Teflon disc between the badge and grill, stainless steel studs, stainless steel flat & lock washers, & stainless steel nylon insert locking nuts !
Also, used an Aluminum plate painted flat black on the backside of grill.
Currently the cleanest thing on the 4Runner
