Picked up my TE after a long 6-7 week wait.

2km on the odometer!

No pics but easy enough to do. The tallest object inside the fin is the AM antenna that stands about 2 1/2 inches. The GPS and XM antennas are just wafers.
Took off the cover (5 screws) and Dremeled the AM down to the retaining clip. Then I just cut the fin down and used some plexiglass to fabricate a flat top. Glued and siliconed the new top on.
Everything works, including the AM. Now I just have to get some matching paint to finish it off.

Thanks! Yeah I am running 2" spacers. I got 285/75 KM2s and they do rub. I'm going to do some slight trimming to the cab mount but nothing crazy.

Just before starting the swap I had to get a size comparison of the 24" vs the 34" light bar.




Ditch lights installed.







All the lights working properly. 34" light bar looks better in my opinion than the 24" light bar I had installed before, not sure if I'm going to keep the lower grill lights.

Got stuck for the first time. On my way home from the golf course I found a trail. It was just challenging enough without being too sketchy to do by myself, until I high centered in between two ruts of deep clay and dug the skid into the ground. I got down and dug in my golf clothes for about half an hour until I swallowed my pride and called my golf partner who came and saved my ass in his brand new Tundra platinum. He barely made it to me, but that thing is a beast and got through on sheer HP. It doesn't look brand new anymore though haha. Luckily I had a tow strap and D ring or I'd still be out there digging. Phone died when I called him so I just have a pic of the hole and my truck when I got home, kinda shows how deep in the $#!@ I was. Time to buy some MAXTRAX I guess.
