Did you go with the uniball or the Moog balljoint ones?

How are they? Noticeable handling improvement?

Ball joint, haven't even driven it yet or aligned as I'm working on a couple other things as well. My wife is out of town so I'm taking advantage of the time to leave the truck parked in the garage to catch up on mods and use her car.

Hoping to mostly finish the cb install and mount compressor under the hood, then I need to bribe someone to help clean up my wiring for everything!

Left my 4Runner at the airport and flew ~1800 miles for vaction. I wanted to take the 4Runner with me but couldn't justify the days to drive there and back.
My rental is a new Explorer. Maybe [MENTION=118909]MTgirl[/MENTION] can rescue me from the side of the road where this thing belongs (FORD). The Explorer feels wider and though not as long as the 4Runner. It's more peppy in the low end, but I can't for the life of me figure out why the speedo has 0mph at the 6 o'clock position. I keep trying to put the needle in an appropriate place and then realize I'm doing 20mph over the limit!
The interior is smaller and more cramped, and there's no room for my left foot while driving because of the wheel well. At least it has 4wd. Too bad it took me 15 minutes of sitting in the parking lot to figure out there's no GPS and that stupid SYNC is too complex and involved in everything to easily use while driving.
I wish I had rented from Hertz, I had to walk past 3 of their SR5's to find my doom!

Last night I finished installing my Shrockworks rear bumper... damn stick nuts gave me hell... and I had to make a run to HomeDepot to buy some hardware to mount the spare tire, none was included.

Now all I need is to replace the spare tire with proper one.

After measuring like 20times, it still didn't feel right..

I removed the bumper before cutting it, I think now I would have cut it while still on to provide some support. Other than that, don't use a dremmel, that thing was just melting its way through.

I'm having a local shop install my CBI bumper. Part of me wants to see the install. The other part of me would be off in the corner throwing up, "OH GOD IT LOOKED SO PRETTY BEFORE..."

Hey when you take a saw to an otherwise fine looking and functional body panel it still hurts.

It's only a TRD Pro, it doesn't even have a center differential.
