Had a quick trip to Salt Lake City, then back through Durango CO on the way back home. I'm lame so I only snapped one photo from the road.

I did too! Only took 5 minutes and looks so much better without them.
Not sure why my relay is green and everyone else's seems to be grey?

Last night I drove out to the old Salton Sea Test Base to take pictures of the OMG SUPER-BLOOD MOON using the old PBY dock as background.
2 hours of driving and about 15 minutes of offroading to get there through a lightly used and constantly sand shifting trail. Swear it's different every time I go out.
Still WAY early for being out there was 108 on the way out. Ocotillo SVRA was completely desolate as I passed by. At the sea itself it was "only" about 100, though very humid. Spent 4 hours in a miserable, humid hot fish stinky sauna taking pictures and drinking bottle after bottle of cold water.
Used the tracking on Orux Maps to get back out later that night, following the reverse of my daylight trek in.
On the way home I was once again really happy about how the Warthog can just get me to wherever I want to go whenever I want to go there.
I'll add to my build/adventure thread later when I actually get to see the photos.

Went up Guardsman's pass in Utah between Brighton Ski Resort and Park City Ski Resort. Unfortunately didn't get any pics. Beautiful drive!

Celebrated 1,600 and 1,700 miles over the weekend by hanging out around Blue Ridge, GA and exploring the Cohutta Wilderness. We followed one trail that somehow dumped us out in Tennessee.
I didn't bring any of my camera equipment because I'm dumb so we will all have to live with crappy phone pics.

Sought out some fall color. Colorado in late September is tough to beat.
Now that our season isn't going as planned, seems like your Saturdays have opened up for more exploring!

Perfect weather and peak leaf color here in Colorado this past weekend were thankfully more than enough to take my mind off the debacle that our season has turned into. That said, Auburn football has given me some amazing memories over the past 5 years, so I'm just sucking it up and dealing with this season. Proudly wore my Auburn Alumni Association shirt around Crested Butte Saturday, despite the free-fall.

Love it - War Eagle anyways, right? Enjoy CO - my fam is from there, I was born there and I was just there last month. One of my top 10 Auburn moments took place in Littleton, believe it or not, when my grandpa and I watched the TAMU game together in 2013 shortly before he passed away from pancreatic cancer. My wife and I went to visit him one last time since we knew time was short. Despite the fact that I never once talked about Auburn football with him, ever, he greeted me with a WAR EAGLE once I walked in the door and rattled off a bunch of statistics. Watching the game together was truly one of the best experiences ever.
