Uhhh- I have a plastic hook mounted on that panel and I have an LED headlamp and a hat hanging from it. Whenever I go offroad I have an LED headlamp, a hat, and a panel with a hook on it flying around the cargo area.

No way in hell I would mount a knife on there!

Fixed my trailer wiring plug after ripping one of the covers off in Moab last week. I removed the bracket and bent it up further to better protect it off road. I know it was already hard to get to and this makes it harder, but I've only towed once in the 3+ years I've owned the vehicle, and off road functionality is more important to me. By the way, the trailer wiring plug is the same as the one used on the Tundra. If you search for a 4Runner one you won't find it, but the Tundra one is identical. The part no. is PT725-34140.

Spent 7 hours installing my lift. Yes I know I'm slow but it was my first lift install ever and I wanted it done right. Pics to come in my build thread soon as it was too dark tonight to get any.

Blew out and washed the sleeve, sprayed some lubricant, it loosened up but wouldn’t spin freely. I tried loosening the screws that fasten the skid plate on the opposite side and it came free. Seems that the skid plate screws were too long and were pressing against the threads and inhibiting movement/adjustability (note the two fang marks from the screws). Put it all back together and everything seems ok…until they get dirty again. Seems like a poor design to me, with the pinch bolts and the space that is left for dirt to foul the threads on the outer sleeve. Icon is sending me shorter screws.

Fill the gap with RTV. Wont allow moisture or dirt in. but bolts will twist right out of the RTV later if need be.(Aircraft trick)

Good to know. I tore the cover off mine the other day wheeling. I need to replace it. My buddy has a tundra. Maybe I'll take his when he isn't looking...

Spent most of yesterday afternoon installing my Southern Style Speed bumper. Not a great picture but it is a great bumper.

Now those are some happy RRs! If that were mine he'd have disappeared in about 10 minutes flat and showed back up when he was good and ready, likely covered in sap, crap, and who knows what else! Glad yours are more manageable.

You'll notice my male is not in any of the photos. He's my bolting dog who doesn't like coming back. He also gets tired after walking more than a mile. He's the most non-ridgeback-like RR I've ever owned. He'd rather hold down the sofa at home.
 
Had to strip and re-paint the wind fairing on my gobi rack. Went to take a sticker off and it pulled all the paint off with it. What should have been something fun has turned into an all day affair of sanding and rattle-canning.
