What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Had my rear main seel replaced at 80000 miles.

Took mine to the dealership today to have my little leak checked out.

Rear main seal...Im only at 60K miles.

In addition to the seal, my front passenger lock actuator also went out.

It will be getting dropped off at the dealership again on Monday to have the warranty work done.

Really have no idea. Threw me for a loop when I saw it. The puddles must've been just the right depth.

Just got my new 16' 4R Trail Edition a few days ago.
First thing on the list was to take off all that chrome/silver, so I plastidipped the wheels, badges, front and back bumpers/valences.

Need to get up on those roof racks and dip those too.

But it's a solid start atleast....looks mean.
Can't wait to start a build on this beauty.

Bummer, a steel CBI bumper runs $1100 ($1700 with swing out).

When I was rear ended the damage was mostly cosmetic to the rear bumper skin, the exhaust was a little bent and insurance paid like $1500. I went the steel bumper route after driving around for awhile as it was, kept thinking I'd damage it more offroad.

An f250 is a big truck though, I assume more damage?

Truck was only going maybe about 20mph, so just cracked the bumper in one spot and put a hole through another spot

Wander through here, there are other bumper options, but I'm very pleased.

Also don't forget to make their insurance pay you for diminished value (even after a repair the value is lower because the accident is now on the vehicles carfax) and if you have any neck pains or missed work to get checked at a doctor they will reimburse you for that too

You're lucky it is covered by the warranty. Mine came out of pocket, big kick in the nuts. I hope that fixes the leak. I'm taking mine back in in a few hundred miles to get it rechecked.
