What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Went to Hollister Hills yesterday with [MENTION=106195]v_man[/MENTION] and another Expo member for a day of fun on the trails, and in my case, getting to know the limits of my 4Runner and myself. Trip report on my build page.

Grayed out my front and read badges and added my rear trail badge (also gray)! It was my first time dipping badges so....I'll need to redo them and not rush next time. But...I love the color and am very happy with the look.

Abalone Diving

Just got home after spending a weekend up by Fort Bragg at Casper Beach trying my hand at Abalone Diving for the first time. Water was ruff but still had a good time, came back empty handed but oh well there is always next time. I survived for my first go at it and walked out the water so what more could I ask for. A couple friends managed to grab some so we still ate like kings with 4 to cook up. Rented a Teardrop trailer from Sierra Tear drops in Auburn CA. Was a pretty cool cozy set up for the family with the outdoor kitchen being my favorite part!

I've done more "offloading" in a Ford Transit van than I have in my 4Runner in the last year. Sigh...

ive done more off roading in my mail truck than in my runner as well :faint:

What product did you use to do that?

Anthracite gray plastidip. It's rubberized so you can remove it without any damage.

Thanks to Chromedome35 for giving me the idea to get some Rigid boxes from Home Depot. I got the basket, medium box and small box. Nothing rolls around back there anymore. The basket holds the recovery gear and various ropes & tie downs, the medium is all tools, and the small holds all the superfluous knick-knack crap we all seem to collect (chargers, plugs, spare whatevers and what-nots).

I really those rigid boxes.

i still need to wire my lights.
Also looks like i need to change out my 12V fridge wire from 12 AWG to 10 AWG.
Got the E1 error all weekend.
Also, i have to say the fridge mounting plate just sucks.
I will toss it and just rig up a way to tie down.

When I swing by I can bring along some 10AWG wiring. I have a few spools left that we can do a large run with. Just gotta figure out when I can make it down there...
