Bgrip Uno

Since i wanted to carry my mirrorless g7k with me during trips and outings without having to fiddle around with my camera bag when a photo op presents itself, i came up with this quick release. The mount can still be unmounted with the 2 screw nuts and used as a belt holster with the adapter included.

*Tissue cubby is still functional :roll:

It wasn't difficult, just more-so time consuming because of the prep work. First I had to remove the plate/holder and clean the area. Then I taped the surrounding grill with 3M painters tape, covered the grill/front hood with newspaper and cardboard - same with the side trim. Sprayed about five/six coats and peeled it all off carefully.

It's not difficult, just time-consuming so dedicate a few hours of your day so you're not rushed!

RCI Metalworks Rock Sliders

Ta da! Like magic they suddenly appeared. Time for prep and paint.
P.S. While getting measurements for ths sliders I discovered a big fat dent in the stock gas tank skid. I guess that's what I'll be getting next.

Got them from ToyotaPartsDeal.com. $49.50 per side, about $18 off per side. A couple of other online sites were in the same price range, just a bit higher. Of course, some of the savings were negated by the $13 shipping charge. The cost for convenience I guess!

Went browsing around the local auto parts store. Found a 90 degree exhaust pipe for $7 and a $3 clamp and decided that was much cheaper than the Magnaflow system I have been wanting.

Drove six hours from Rockwall, Texas to Lubbock with my wife, two kids, and a Border Collie on the way to Ruidoso, New Mexico. First road trip and my 4Runner did fine. Lots of power when I needed it and enough room for lots of stuff. Another four hours tomorrow.
