How did you go about replacing the hood?

That was the easy swap.

Had a local body shop order the hood & scoop for me. The nice part was he painted and then I showed up on a Saturday morning and they swapped the hood in twenty minutes.

Best part was no down time.

Got my first door ding after 1.7 months of ownership. Parked in a wide open spot with no cars around in a Home Deport lot. Come out to see a scratch and a little ding on the door. I do hit trails and my body has tons of scratches and swirls but those don't bother me as I put them there myself. Ticks me off when careless people damage my property though.

No issues with missing parts for my 2000 but the package it was shipped in was damaged at both ends. UPS is slipping lately. Fortunately nothing was damaged. I'm using fourtreks mounts on mine. Had to adjust once on the Gobi due to slippage. Will either try and insert some rubber material inside the clamp or consider different mounts. I like the fourtreks for many mounting solutions but I'm still unsure about their longterm durability as awning mounts on the gobi.

My arb awning packaging was also damaged / opening on one end. Everything was fine inside. I believe mine came with the hardware but not sure because I also bought some front runner mounts. But I had the necessary hardware.

Walked out to a dead battery this morning. Didn't drive it all weekend so I'm sure the fridge killed it, so much for the low voltage cutoff! Popped on the jump pack and it started right up. Unplugged the fridge, just had some beverages in there anyway.

Was just thinking yesterday that I needed to hook up the tender, oops.

Got C4 fuel tank skid installed yesterday, looks good, should be plenty strong. Install was pretty straight forward, but found a interference issue with the RCI lower link skids. Not a huge issue just had to notch the fuel tank skid to fit.
So anyone running lower link skids and a C4,be prepared to do this.

cargo d-ring

i found 2 d-rings from my old Tacoma and installed them behind the cargo hooks. The original plan was to mcgyver an attic but the base of the ring is to wide to put them at an angle. I might just use a daisy chain and hang stuff when exploring.

Went exploring in Flagstaff

Headed up North, hiked the Inner Basin, explored Sunset Volcano Crater, some indian ruins and off roading at Cinder Hills, climbed up to the top of several craters, pretty cool trails.

Successfully tested our new off-road bike rack mod in the Sierra Mountains near Downieville. Even got up trails that turned around a lifted Jeep Rubicon without dragging the racks/bikes

Also scored a sweet 4x4 dispersed camping site nearby.
