Out of curiosity, I performed drain/fill work on front and rear differentials. It was not complicated but I took my time since I have not done this before.

Did my spark plugs this weekend. Going to do my lift kit this upcoming 3 day weekend and gonna get some new tires with the Labor Day Sales.

Changed my cabin and engine air filter this evening. Got both from my dealer for $26.81. I love how easy the cabin filter is to swap. My new filter is Made in 'Merica!

Had my almost 5 year old help me clean rims/tires. Literally 90 seconds and half of one tire later he was back in the garage looking for something else to do.

Talladega National Forest fun

On Saturday, I participated in an ALS charity ride in the Talladega National Forest on a trail that was feature in OutdoorX4 recently. A few mud holes had to be negotiated. A day on the trail and even a day removing mud is better than a day in the office.

Was lucky enough to slide an Imogene Pass run in yesterday, less than 12 hours before they closed it for the season. At the top, i was getting pelted by quarter inch hail the entire time. was most deff super scary.

Already closed for the season??? I was hoping to do it this weekend... Bummer

Stopped off at McCoy's 4x4 shop in Grove City OH. Can't see the shop from the road, so explains why it didn't draw attention. Barely saw the sign for it as it was. Went in and found it was mostly a tire/wheel and lift shop. But asked about Air Lift for the 4Runner anyway. Wanted way too much to do it. Went back and looked at the forums, I'll be doing it myself. Ordered the kit through Amazon for $83.

Booked the dealer 50k service for next week and a tire R&B at the tire shop (Toyota charges me for what the tire shop does free).

Took 4Runner for a road trip. 2 weeks through all states west of Great Planes. Today is 1/3rd - after over 1600 miles sitting and enjoying the the viev of Royal Gorge Bridge - it's to late for pictures (I just found that sun sets 1 hour earlier here in Colorado ).
