Since purchasing my 4Runner in January. I haven't seen any real weather. It snowed a bit today in Kansas so I went out and drove around some back roads. Mounted the iPad mini on the windshield from the cup holder and bought a sun visor storage for some EDC stuff I have lying around the house.

I got jiggy with it. Picked up my Kings yesterday from Fedex (Thank Filthy Motorsports!), called up my coworker (who just bought a 2017 Tacoma Offroad) and said "lets do some stuff to my stuff and drink some LaCroix's!"
This is the result. Installed the King coilovers and the shocks out back. I did not install the Dobinson's progressive rate coils yet in the rear cause right now I don't really have that much weight...33" spare and a CBI rear (non tire carrier). The Toytec coils will do for now. Also mounted the 305 Nitto Ridges and SCS Ray10's that have been hangin out in my garage for a month. No rubbing after removing the spidertrax wheel spacers. Happy with the stance! Will likely add maybe a 1/4 or 1/2" pre load to the coilovers...or two turns of the collar.
First impressions: :reddance:
Second impression will have to wait till the end of the month. I leave town for two weeks tomorrow for work.

Road Trip
Packing for next weekend. We're heading to Joshua Tree, Angeles NF and Dumont for camping and mountain biking. Not exactly a dream trip, but every where I want to go has been washed away with the rain. Plan B is a quick trip to Bend OR to pick up and RTT. Either way, I'm looking forward a nice, long weekend.

Well let's see...
Almost ran out of gas with my kids in the car and discovered I didn't have my wallet, had to phone a friend to fix that, bummer for sure.
My son got sick, high fever etc, wife out of town, second bummer.
Washed and waxed it, apparently it was a bad winter given how many chips in the paint I got. Truck looks better than it did when I woke up though!
Then walked inside and got a call that my grandfather passed away, third bummer of the day, bad things come in three's right?
It's been a day, good thing I like to drink alcohol.
