Took her into the dealer after finding a mystery oil leak coming from the front of the engine....
Any update or info on the oil leak. Hope that it's nothing serious.

Took my Bismarck for the first oil change and tire rotation in Poland. So far I like that Toyota dealer place. I will know more when I inspect everything they did (now it is to dark and cold to get under the truck). BTW this is the first 5th gen they ever had in service. Pricewise is also OK: about 90 dollars for for Toyota synthetic and rotation. That was about the same I was paying in USA.
Now the good thing is that they can do practically everything, even this truck is not made for Europe. They can get any part as long as it is manufactured by Toyota - some parts may take few weeks to get but if part is anywhere in Europe, they can have it in 2 days. Price for parts is also OK: about 25% of MRSP, which is what most on-line places in USA do. I mean that includes VAT (it means tax, for you guys in USA).
SO the bottom line I am not screwed like I thought in the first place, when I was bringing this truck to Poland.
Next is to fluid film the frame, I guess. I did that to my 95 Tacoma this week, and it turned out great (I like this Fluid Film thing).
BWT did anyone in "cold states" notice a frame rust problem on 2010 and later 4Runners?

My 2012 needs a Fluid Film treatment. No big rust problems but too much for me so I will treat it. Great product.

SSO front bumper install
Finally got a day to install my SSO front bumper, BD light bar, and Smitty X20 winch. Project went really well overall. Bumper was packaged perfectly, fit and finish of the bumper was exceptional - everything lined up spot on. The only change I'd make (will be doing it asap) would be to mount the winch controller on the side of the winch. I mounted it dead center and it obscures the spool too much to rewind it well after a recovery.

See below...
I first noticed the leak on the passenger side KDSS sway attachment on the lower control arm. There was no oil on the ground, but a decent amount of residue and a half formed drop on the sway bar. I looked further and there was some blow back on the suspension components on the passenger side, the inside of the passenger wheel, but not enough to blow back to the muffler or coat anything farther back than the trans crossmember. Fearing the worst, I removed the rear skid (as I was supposed to change the oil anyways) and found the engine oil pan untouched, and mostly dry with some older residue, maybe from a previous oil change. It was when I took the engine skid off and found the oil filter mostly dry, but the power steering lines, and engine crossmember coated with oil/residue. It looked as if there was residue about half way up the front of the block as far as I could tell. The photo shows the crossmember, and you can see some of the blow back beyond that point on the suspension, etc. It must have happened on a short drive from San Jose to my house (10 miles freeway), and then stopped once I shut the engine off because there wasn't a puddle under it.
So long story short, it's leaking from somewhere... They are not 100% sure of the source, so I get to drive it 500-1200 miles (as spec'd by the Toyota work order) so they can re-evaluate when I get back now that they have cleaned the majority of the residue and dyed the oil. Hopefully then they can I.D. the source and fix it under warranty.
The worst part about all of this, is that for the first time, I feel hesitant to take it on a long trip. Mostly because it isn't fixed yet... But still. It was a great feeling with this 4R knowing that really, unless I was an idiot and broke something doing something I shouldn't have been, I would be driving home without any issues. That feeling of confidence is the entire reason I bought a NEW 4R. I always wanted to be able to get back...
