This is what I brought home for the HOA from [MENTION=137555]Sleeter[/MENTION] 's Overlanding trip.



So... I spent $20 at the pressure washer today just to return home with a 4Runner that was "merely dirty". We're gonna need a bigger wash, lol.

Grabbed some lawn equipment and a few other things from storage the next city over. I only intended a lawnmower and a couple other things but there was always room for more. I spent about 3 hours roundtrip to get it but swear I saw a dozen 4Runners, 3rd-5th gen along the way.

So it gets hotter than the devils dangling diner here in az, and when your kiddos are in their proper rear facing seats they don't get to much airflow from the measly 2nd row vents. "The Noggle" is it's name, redirecting airflow is it's game!
I got the 6ft version made for "cars with front facing chillens" which is 6ft long, they also have a "SUV with rear facing chillens" that is 8ft long, that one seemed over kill and didn't need noozels running from the front vents all they way to his face. The 6' hose reaches just fine with adjustment to his dome area from the 2nd row vents. Local "babiesru" was not worth the trip, for poor selection. But $buy$buybaby had a huge selection of color and length(they make a Rv one....like 12ft?)
Anyways I think he's enjoying it! That or it makes it easier to grab his turtle! Lots of flexibility and options for placement for getting the air in their face! So far, very worthy for the lil one!

Good find! I need to get one for my 16 month old, he sweats a lot and hates being overclothed in his seat. Thanks!

Installed some LED's in the projectors. Now it looks like a new car should from 2017. :nono:

I totally agree. Hopefully I should finish my HIDs tonight to round out my LEDs that I installed last week.

Which HID kit did you end up with? I went the LED route since the hardware could be stuffed into the recess of the headlight.

I tried LED, light projection sucked in my experience. The factory bulb actually projected further even though the LED seemed wider and does reflect better off road signs and white lines.

Put some headphones on to listen. The video really doesn't do it justice. Sorry for the quality. But it's got a growl but no drone. The guy who helped me said it's more quiet then a borla. Borla is usually what people get for a more subtle sound.

Sadly I'm coming to this conclusion myself. I'm going to give it a week or so and see how I like it. Otherwise it'll go back to Amazon.

Greased up my TC UCAs via the zerks... ensured I loosened the long arm bolt then pumped some Super Lube in there and finally put some Triflow on the uniballs!

You are correct, when I turned as I walked away I couldn't tell if the 4RNR was tiny or the Raptor a giant.

But seeing those parked next to each other like that, you can really tell who isn't compensating...

(that said, I really like the Raptor too)
