Saw this Barcelona 4R at Walmart in Sylva NC if anyone recognizes it and knows if the owner is on the forums or not.
Of course had to take a picture next to it and noticed... WHAT THE HELL? his rig is like 2-3 inches taller than mine and I'm on 33s with a 3 inch lift!!?!? sensing something fishy and not noticing any drop bracket or body lift kit I crouched down to look at his suspension...
Toytec BOSS shocks cranked up to the high heavens. I'm almost certain he has only about 1/2" of down travel left and let me not tell you about his CV's :cry2:

Oh yeah and on stock UCAs and everything. It looks great but he is surely to blow something out here soon. his alignment tech must a wizard :lol:

Had to do a double take on that red one, roofline and lighting almost made it look like an 80 series for some reason.
Install was a little tough. The updated instructions on the website need a little improving. The build quality is excellent.

Replaced my Toyo Open Country M/T (265x70) with Open Country R/Ts (285x70) to go with the OME lift I installed last week. Noticeably quieter/smoother tire with "0" wheel shake regardless of road surface. Very pleased with quality of the ride from both tires and suspension.

I took her out in these 22+ inches of hurricane harvey rains.. My stock tires are complete garbage out there but some how the a-trac and locking diff just kept pulling me out of the mud. I even impressed my buddy in his jeep after he's been ragging on me for buying the 4r instead of a jeep for 6 months.

Used the 4runner to out run Hurricane Harvey from Corpus with the wife and pets and then back the following morning. Sacrificial Tacoma in background...
just don't run to houston! you guys took it right on the nose with some pretty nasty damage down there on the coast. glad to see your feline made it through

Got the rent mounted for its maiden voyage this weekend using the new Frontrunner quick release mounts. These are no joke quick and easy. Once everything was measured and setup, it literally took less than two minutes to mount the tent. I optioned for the higher profile but more robust mounting position above the slats (overall about 2 inches between the rack and bottom of the tent). The gap actually doesn't look as bad as it does in the picture and I have room for some flat storage underneath. You can mount low profile using the channels slots below the slats, but with the size and weight of the Mr. Rainier Summit Series plus it having two adults and two kids in it I wanted more surface area pushing down on the slats instead of all of the weight being held in the channels underneath by just the bolt.
