What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Clay bar the WHOLE truck. If it's on the windshield, it's on the paint and I'm sure the majority of the truck. Clay everything including all glass then give it a good coat of wax. My personal preference is Meguiars clay and #26 yellow wax.

It’s hardly noticable damage on mine but just sucks having it on a two week old vehicle...

As much as it sucks, at least you got it out of the way. Now the small unavoidables won't sting as much.

And be thankful it was your own fault. Nothing worse than having to look at a sole blemish you didn't cause.

That’s exactly what I was thinking! I’ve been so obsessive over this thing looking perfect since I drove off the lot with it. Maybe this little “imperfection” will get that out of the way and I can finally just enjoy owning and driving it. In a weird way this happening could be a good thing for me lol

RCI/UPS delivered today! Did some cutting of the TRD Pro skid to allow for LCA armor to be fitted. Tomorrow the fuel tank skid will be modified and installed.

Just sprayed mine down yesterday. Do you use 1 or 2 cans. I felt like it was getting excessive after i completed the first can

I kind of went crazy and used almost four whole cans on the initial application. I anticipate using two cans for the reapply. Probably too much but whatever. It's my first vehicle using this stuff and it is messy to work on but the trade off of no rust is worth it to me.

A little wire routing/layout and picked up my new personalized plates from DMV and got them installed:

Also got a call from UPS Freight - delivery of 449lbs of Shrockworks sliders and rear bumper set for delivery on next Tuesday :banana:
