Just got my matte gray TRD pro wheels! My SR5 is slowly coming together.

Getting ready for a holiday road trip. The drawer system I built will not work for this trip since its the wife, two kids, two small dogs and me. We will be leaving SAC and heading to the Grand Canyon, Pertified Forest, the Meteor Crater, Sante Fe, Denver, Fort Collins for Thanksgiving with my Marine brother and then home via I-80.

I built a quick platform tonight to put the dog crate on top and luggage and other stuff below.

I love how bright these things are, the license plate LED's are SUPER freaking bright! I also replaced the reverse light bulbs, but hard to get a picture with your vehicle in reverse on the hill even with the parking brake on, but they're the same bulbs as these

I used the same fyre fly kit. Man, they are bright. Almost too bright when it is very dark out!

Yeah, I just installed the map lights today and holy crap, they're too bright for every day use, not sure if I'll leave them in, may just disable that light when the doors open at least until I get used to them. Replaced my license plate and reverse lights and now I have to turn the contrast and brightness down on my rearview camera because the combo is so bright!

took off some gaff tape that was hold down some wiring while I was installing my led light bar, now my lightbar/wiring howls like crazy on the freeway.

I guess I'm going to "reinstall" my gaff tape, and see if the howling goes away.

Yup, I had led's in the map lights in my tundra, and if you turn them on at night while driving or anything, prepare for floating artifacts and the inability to see past your own reflection. I choose to leave my map lights stock in the 4runner for that reason alone.

I did get used to it eventually! For a while, I just turned off the front lights, and just used the rear dome light for door open. Plenty bright for the whole cabin!

Changed my brake pads and rotors. Bit of advice... rotate the rear brakes so that the hole in the rotor is at the bottom so you can loosen the E-brake then use a rubber mallet and let out some pent up rage to get the rotor off... well that's if you have an older 5th
Gen like me....

All parts delivered this week. 5100’s all around, fronts set at 0 with Wheelers T1’s, T12’s for the rear, and JBA high caster UCA.

Yeah, I think at least to start I'm going to do just the cabin dome. My gf was playing with the new vanity mirror lights and they're so bright I told her she can't use them while I'm driving

How bad was the bumper removal? I have the same bumpers but have been hesitant to rip the brand new bumper off
