What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Without measuring it,

I would estimate from the floor to the top of the tray is about 3 inches (making it even with the folded 2nd seat)

There is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of usable storage depth underneath.

The tray protector/cover makes it seem higher as it has a raised lip running around the edge.

The tray cover is removed for sleep or when a flat floor is desired...

Dropped it off at Toyota to have the needle bearing replaced, a few hours later I call to get an update and the tech working on it broke my ABS wire... WTF!? Now I'm in a loaner Camry until part comes in...

Covered the damn chrome steering wheel logo

Many thanks to dustinmj for his idea and PDF templates for using Talon Grip material in the cubby holes to keep stuff in place. My apologies if someone has posted about this already, but I also used the Talon Grip material to cover the shiny chrome Toyota logo badge on the steering wheel of my 2018 TORP.

I hate the distracting chrome details inside the cabin; too much flashing in the sunlight. So I made a 48mm x 66mm ellipse (oval) template and used it to cut out the Talon Grip material. After applying to the badge I used a hair dryer to heat, press, and set the material according to the directions.

I also covered the slim chrome details on the directional side vents near the windows.

I took a drive down to Sedona and hit a trail I'd never been on before. Was glad I aired down before hand as it was decently rough. My passenger had never been off-road like this and she totally dug it.

Still have my 2016, but brought home a 2017 GX for mom.. her first new car since 2003! Great service from Stevens Creek Lexus.

Edit: should note, she grew up in the old Stevens' ranch house when Stevens Creek was still a dirt road (it's 6-lanes wide now)... valley has changed quite a bit since then. She has an old-school mentality towards purchases so I'm happy to see her upgrading to the Lexus, giving her new tech and comfort while hopefully providing years of dependable service.

....Perhaps a cynical question...but what prevents someone from removing that nifty lookin ladder but simply un-screwing the nuts from the bolts?...

Yeah, around here winter is a calendar oddity that has little real impact on the climate.

C4 goes heavy on the wrap around the susceptible edges. Mine had a tiny knick (nick?) On one of the edges but wasn't worth fighting or returning

Looks fantastic! Did you have to trim the factory bumper on the sides?

There is a lot of trimming to the rear bumper cover. Just tape it off and let it rip. It is all covered by the new bumper.

I got my bumper and sliders in no problem. Just make sure you put something between the bumper and sliders so it doesn't rub on your way back home.

Switch-Pros

Just finished my 8100 install. Cleaned up the rat nest of wires I had in the engine bay. Powertrays is highly recommended. Was planning on adding the Blue Sea fuse block but I think I'll be using the space for ARB single compressor.

I have the SDHQ engine bay mount for the switch pro for sale if anyone is interested.

No issues at all. Drove them straight to the paint shop and they should be finished mid week. Cant wait.

To access the lower bolts they would need the swing gate open. But I suppose if someone wanted it bad enough, they'd find a way to get it. Also goes for every other part that's just bolted on.

Correction: goes for every part. Period. Inside or outside, above or under. The most annoying is still catalytic converter (two of them) easy to cut off if you don't have solid armor under.
