Mounted up the ADV fiberglass fenders. Fenders still need a really good polish from after my paint and wet sand.

Figured out what that rattle was under my 4runner.
Thought it was a loose nut or something, but it turns out...it's just Yoshi?

For the record, vehicle was used and I don't have any kiddos, so no clue how that ended up in there. Looks like it's wedged behind a skid plate.

Got my new Gobi Stealth rack and ladder installed as well as the rear Old Man Emu 3" lift. Unfortunately, the extra set of hands I had lined-up for lift installation help decided to bail last minute, so I didn't have enough time to finish the front end. Guess I'll just have to run the raked-out look until I can get around to the front this weekend.

As a note for anyone in the Portland, OR area looking for a place to wrench, Gearheads Garage in Tigard is an absolutely amazing place. They have spaces (with well-stocked tools) to rent with or without a 2-post lift. Prices are super reasonable and Mike, the owner, is true blue.

Nismospec, When did you buy your Runner? My wife informed me "that's the current Happy Meal toy from McDonalds."

For the record, I DO have kiddos...and try desperately to keep toys out of crevices. I didn't realize I needed full armor as well!

Replace the tweeters in the dash with a 2 way 3.5" speaker and you'll notice an incredible difference in sound. I went with the JBL GTO 3.5 which comes with the appropriate capacitor (poor man's crossover) and they sound great for what they are.

Did you need to fab new brackets to mount them? Pics ?

Ive got a set in the garage but they seem too deep and the ears don’t align with any of the OE mount locations?

You can make small metal tabs to make them line up. The JBL speakers I used were not to deep but the lip around the surround did stand up to high so I just trimmed it down. You of course have to remove the cone from the bottom of the tweeter grill also otherwise you will block half the speaker making this pretty pointless. That goes for any 3.5" speaker you install. What 3.5" speakers do you have on hand?

I used the bottle jack, which worked great... but reconnecting that stretchy strap was a real PITA!! Can't imagine doing it without the jack!

Well, the way I did it was to just my stomach and chest as both a jack and jack stand....I really wish I would of thought about the bottle jack... :doh:

Well I hope I remember it when I finally get a bumper.
